Growing Minority Enterprises
GCP is focused on increasing the number, scope and scale of minority-owned businesses. Through the Ohio MBDA Business Center and Emerging Developers Initiatives businesses can access targeted growth resources and advisors. Customer opportunities are provided through supplier diversity initiatives including CommitCLE and the Construction, Utilities, & Buildings Equity Initiative.
Increasing Workforce Diversity
GCP serves as a convener and resource for employers on diversity, equity and inclusion. Our workshops and conferences include a CEO Forum and the annual Equity & Inclusion Conference engaging leaders to commit to action. GCP also provides an E&I assessment tool to help companies identify their strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Promoting Digital Equity
GCP is a partner in the Greater Cleveland Digital Equity Coalition, a collective initiative of Cleveland’s corporate, philanthropic, governmental, K-12, higher education, health care, workforce and community-based organizations. The coalition secures device donations, advocates for affordable broadband, and promotes digital navigators. It also fosters public-private partnerships towards the goal of 100% of residents being connected.

For more than 20 years, GCP has helped businesses enhance their diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives. The E&I Assessment enables companies to understand how their efforts compare to others within their sector and across the region. GCP can further support companies by connecting them to best practices and resources. All companies and organizations are invited to participate.
