Shaker Square / Larchmere

Buckeye Shaker Square Development Corporation (BSSDC) and Shaker Square Area Development (SHAD) are collaborating to nominate Shaker Square, and the surrounding areas of Buckeye and Larchmere, to be the neighborhood of choice for Cleveland Chain Reaction. Shaker Square is full of diversity, vitality, and opportunity and has many great assets such as walkability, bikeablility, and easy access to the RTA rapid. Shaker Square hosts many businesses such as art and antique galleries, institutions, restaurants, a farmers market, and entertainment.

SHAD is experienced in working with a variety of business tenants at its 65,000 sq. ft. office complex and has helped small business start-ups through its office incubator program. It also has assisted in the design and construction of large office spaces for established businesses. BSSDC is one of the oldest community development corporations in the City of Cleveland. BSSDC has provided economic leadership and has participated in many of the transformational developments and businesses in the neighborhood for the Buckeye, Shaker Square, and Larchmere area since 1970. There are many areas of professional and retail space available ranging from storefront space to first and second floor office space. Additionally, there is a recently vacated full service restaurant that could provide the street with a healthy eating establishment.
