Greater Cleveland Partnership welcomes you to its second annual Sustainability Summit, at the Huntington Convention Center which drew ~400 participants last year. This event convenes business, civic thought leaders and changemakers committed to sustainable growth. This event underscores our commitment to building a Great (and Green) Region on a Great Lake.

Kaitlin Bergan, Head of Sustainable Client Solutions, AMRS, leads client engagement across the US, Canada and Latin America for BlackRock’s Sustainable & Transition Solutions team. The Sustainable & Transition Solutions team is focused on driving BlackRock’s sustainability and transition strategy, supporting client and external sustainability engagement, and partnering on sustainable product ideation. Kaitlin is a frequent speaker on sustainable finance at industry events and joined BlackRock’s delegation to COP 27. Previously, Kaitlin was a member of BlackRock's Institutional Client Business and Global Product Group.   Prior to joining BlackRock, Ms. Bergan held roles in asset management investor relations and communications in London and New York. Ms. Bergan earned a BA in History, with Honours, from the University of Oxford and she holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics. Based in New York, Kaitlin is Co-President of the New York Cares Rising Leaders Council.

Anne M. Vogel, Director of the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, was appointed by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine in January of 2023. Prior to her appointment, Vogel served as the Policy Director for the Office of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine.  Vogel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the helm of the Ohio EPA. While serving as the Governor’s Policy Director, Vogel was charged with implementing the vision for the major initiatives of the DeWine-Husted administration. Vogel worked on the initial creation and launch of H2Ohio, the Governor’s water quality initiative that brings together the Ohio EPA, Ohio Department of Agriculture, and Ohio Department of Natural Resources to improve Ohio’s water quality through the creation of wetlands, the reduction in phosphorus runoff, improving access to clean drinking water, and quality sewer systems. She was also Governor DeWine’s Infrastructure Coordinator, overseeing the work of multiple state agencies receiving funds under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Prior to joining the DeWine-Husted administration, Vogel was Managing Director of Federal Affairs for American Electric Power Company, practiced law at Porter Wright and clerked for Judge Sargus. Vogel received a J.D. from Capital University Law School with summa cum laude distinction. In addition, she holds an M.B.A. from The Ohio State University.
